Systems:

I have worked on a variety of fundraising systems and report writers including Millennium (xbase and html), Raiser's Edge, Pledgemaker, Benefactor, Paradign, MS Access, Crystal, R&R, Brio/Hyperion, and SQL.

Institutions:

I have experience at a range of non-profits, with a variety of staff sizes and configurations.  I have been consulting since 1993, and prior to that worked on the development staff at Simmons College, Brigham and Women's Hospital and New England Medical Center. 

Customized Solutions:

While much of my work involves conversions from one system to another, I realize that sometimes the best solutions do not involve throwing more technology at the problem.  The best solution for a particular site may be to streamline certain operations, or make better use of the system you already have.

I graduated cum laude from Tufts University in 1985 with a BA in Economics, with a year as a general course student at the London School of Economics.  I have also taken a variety of technical courses relating to database systems and design.
